Lacey: I'm a supernatural fan now

Lacey Turner said she gets on well with her Switch co-stars
Lacey Turner has revealed she has become a fan of the supernatural since taking on a string of spooky roles.
The actress made her name in EastEnders but since waving goodbye to Albert Square her credits have included Being Human, Bedlam and a live televised production of Frankenstein's Wedding, and she is now set to star in new series Switch, which follows four witches who live together in Camden.
Lacey said: "I wasn't a fan of the supernatural and then I did Being Human and I loved it. Since then I suppose I've become a bit of a fan.
"It's nice to do something about witches. There hasn't been much about them before and I love the film Practical Magic."
Lacey plays Stella, a career girl who also happens to be a witch, who is trying to climb the ladder in advertising.
The star said: "I did a bit of research into advertising because I've never worked in an office. I've never worn a pencil skirt either and never will again because I can't get in a car when I'm wearing one!"
The show is as much about the friendship between the girls as it is about the magic, and Lacey revealed she is pleased she clicks with her co-stars Nina Toussaint-White, Phoebe Fox and Hannah Tointon in real life.
"All four of us are completely different but we all got on so well. Before you knew it we were all eating pizza together every night," she said.
:: Switch begins on ITV2 on October 16.
