Kenny: I wish I was like Zsa Zsa

Emer Kenny loved playing 'feisty' Zsa Zsa in EastEnders
Emer Kenny has revealed she has very fond memories of her time playing Zsa Zsa Carter in EastEnders.
The 22-year-old actress, about to hit our screens in the second series of E4 comedy Beaver Falls, still has a strong attachment to her soap role - not least because she helped create Zsa Zsa's story.
She was picked as one of 13 young people to write EastEnders' online spin-off show E20 and, off the back of that, was cast as tearaway teen Zsa Zsa. "I loved her, she was so feisty," said Emer.
"She's kind of what I wish I could be, in that she can say anything she likes to anybody. I wish I didn't have to be polite."
Not only did Zsa Zsa make the transition from online spin-off to the BBC One soap itself but, on the strength of her writing for E20, Emer became the youngest ever person to be accepted into the BBC's prestigious writing academy which trains people to write for the broadcaster's continuing dramas.
Her training gave her the opportunity to write for hit medical drama Holby City.
"I couldn't believe they'd accepted me and I was so happy to have been given that opportunity; it was the most amazing training for three months," she said.
"Just sitting there talking about stories and writing, it was heaven really."
:: Emer Kenny can be seen in her new role in Beaver Falls on E4 on Monday, August 6.
