Keegan: I still get starstruck

Michelle Keegan has confessed she still goes weak at the knees when she spots her favourite stars on the red carpet.

The 24-year-old Coronation Street - who plays barmaid Tina McIntyre - picked up the Sexiest Female gong at this weekend's British Soap Awards for the fourth year running, and admitted some of the celebs in attendance left her starstruck.

"I'm such a telly buff and I always have been, ever since I was younger, so I'm seeing people I grew up watching," she said.

"I just saw the Loose Women girls, I was like, 'Ooh!'."

Michelle - who recently revealed she and her boyfriend, The Wanted singer Max George, had called off their engagement - is also enjoying working with Corrie veteran Nigel Pivaro.

Nigel has returned to the ITV1 soap to reprise his role as Terry Duckworth, the father of Tina's boyfriend Tommy.

"He's great, I'm a north west girl and I grew up watching Corrie and I remember Terry Duckworth being on screen when I was younger, so it's just really weird working with someone who you grew up watching.

"He's great to work with and I'm really enjoying the storyline."
