EastEnders star June Brown has a photographic memory, her former co-star Anna Wing has revealed.
Anna, 97, was one of the original members of the EastEnders cast when the show launched in 1985 and played Pauline Fowler's mother Lou Beale for three years.
Reminiscing to Inside Soap magazine, Anna revealed: "I remember being terribly jealous of June Brown because she has a photographic memory. She could look at a script and know the whole page, just like that."
June has played Dot Cotton for 27 years.
Anna continued: "Poor old me, I'd be working myself into a terrible state about it. I always knew the lines, but tended to get very nervous in case I let people down.
"I used to pay my family pocket money to listen to me read!"
