Joe reveals Fresh love triangle

Fresh Meat star Joe Thomas has revealed a new love interest will come between Kingsley and Josie in the new series.

The Inbetweeners star plays awkward drama student Kinglsey in the hit E4 comedy, who has become caught up in a will-they-won't-they romance with Welsh dental student Josie.

Joe revealed: "I'm very excited to see what happens between Kingsley and Josie to be honest.

"There's also another sort of love interest for Kingsley as well, who's a really interesting character, who's going to add to it."

The 28-year-old actor - who is about to begin filming on the new series with Kimberley Nixon, Jack Whitehall and Zawe Ashton - admitted it was great being chased by women on screen.

He laughed: "It's not what my experience of real life has been but it's quite nice to be able to do it in a fictional way at least!"

Joe revealed he had begun rehearsing scripts for the new series and said: "I think the writers have really got into the groove now and are experimenting with characters now. I really like what happens to Kingsley in this series.

"I've only read the first four scripts so the Kingsley/Josie situation is not resolved yet. But I've got a feeling it will work towards some sort of resolution."
