Jenna Whittingham decides to use a throne for her sparkling wine advert
The Apprentice hopeful Jenna Whittingham is blamed for making her team's advert for sparkling wine "too cheesy" when she bases it on her dream wedding.
The candidates are tasked with creating a website and online advert to raise awareness of English sparkling wine, and Sterling project manager Ricky Martin plans a wedding-themed advert, where the bride chooses English fizz over champagne.
Jenna insists on booking a throne for the bride, and while her male team mates look doubtful, the 25-year-old beauty salon owner insists, "the more eye-catching it is, the more people are going to look at it. When I get married I want a throne."
Ricky then leaves Jenna and salesman Stephen Brady to film the video while he works on the website. When he returns to see their comedy advert, he complains "I don't know what to say. I'd say it was a lot cheesier than I was expecting."
Meanwhile, on rival team Phoenix, fine wine investor Tom Gearing volunteers to be project manager and heads off wine tasting with Adam Corbally as part of his research, leaving Jade Nash and Nick Holzherr to do all the work on their website.
At the vineyard the lads end up slurring their words and getting the giggles.
Karren Brady points out: "Whilst they've been enjoying themselves, the other team have been really busy. Should the project manager be having fun or should he actually be in control of the task?"
