Harold: My life has changed so much

Danielle Harold has said her life has changed hugely since she landed the role as Lola Pearce in EastEnders.

Being in the Channel 4 reality TV show Jamie's Dream School led to the budding actress being introduced to an agent, who found her an audition for EastEnders.

Danielle told TV Times: "I didn't have a clue how to do an audition, but I did have a really clear vision of how I imagined Lola to be."

She added: "It's crazy, my life has changed so much."

Since Lola became a part of the BBC1 soap, Danielle has been put through some challenging scenes, particularly her character giving birth.

The soap star said: "I was more than terrified! I was really crying after we finished that day, because it was such a relief to get it out of the way."

Danielle, however, is more than willing to take the experiences in stride. She said: "I'm learning such a lot and there's so much more for me to find out."

She added: "I was just so lucky to get that opportunity when it came along."
