The Silent Witness star, daughter of The Day Of The Jackal actor Edward Fox, is a single mum to 18-month-old daughter Rose and admitted she is terrible at cooking.
Emilia revealed: "I have always been a bit hopeless in the kitchen - it's a running joke in my family how bad I am.
"Before I gave birth to my daughter, my Dad even bought me cookery classes as a Christmas present because he was so concerned about my cooking!"
Now the 37-year-old actress is fronting Kenwood's search for the worst cook in Britain, which will choose 12 disaster cooks, give them training, equipment and ingredients, and help turn them into an accomplished chefs.
The cook who makes the most improvement will be crowned the winner in September.
