Flack battles through sickness

Caroline Flack was rushed to hospital just hours before the first live auditions for this year's X Factor, according to reports.

A source told The Sun that the Xtra Factor host "feared she would have to miss the first show" after falling violently sick on Tuesday at her hotel in Liverpool.

Caroline was rushed to hospital with fears she had suffered a severe allergic reaction but after treatment and returning to her hotel she became ill again and show bosses called out a doctor.

A source was quoted as saying: "Caroline was delirious. She had no idea what was wrong with her. "

But Caroline managed to battle through the sickness for the first auditions at Liverpool's Echo Arena.

Caroline, who is covering the audition stage on her own until co-presenter Olly Murs returns from touring with One Direction, tweeted about her night saying: "After a very long night we are up and ready to roll! First auditions in Liverpool... and a new judge."
