Celebrity Big Brother continues on Channel 5. What have the housemates been up to?
First two singers leave The Voice
The Voice coach Sir Tom Jones sent Sam Buttery home
The first two singers to leave The Voice have been voted off the BBC One talent show.
Five artists from mentor Sir Tom Jones's team and Will.i.am's five performers sang on Saturday night's first live episode, hoping to win viewers' votes. Three were saved by the public and automatically went through to the next round. It was then up to Will and Sir Tom to choose which of their own acts to save.
For the veteran Welsh singer, the choice was between couple Matt & Sueleen, who performed their version of Fleetwood Mac classic Go Your Own Way, and Sam Buttery, who sang Erasure's A Little Respect.
Making his decision, Sir Tom said: "What I think is that Sam and Matt & Sueleen are great entertainers and it's very, very difficult because they are so different. But I can only judge it on last night's performance. And I think I'm going to take Matt & Sueleen."
Sam, 20, from London, said: "I've just loved working with Tom, he's just been amazing. Matt & Sueleen gave a great performance. I'm just lucky for the time that I've had, to grow on the show."
Black Eyed Peas singer Will had to choose between Joelle Moses and Sophie Griffin, who he said were both "amazing talents". Joelle had performed I'm Going Down by Mary J Blige on Saturday night's show, while Sophie sang Titanium by David Guetta, featuring Sia.
He said he was taking Joelle on, but promised to help Sophie with her career in the future.
The 17-year-old, from County Tyrone, said: "This has been the best experience of my whole entire life. I've learnt so much and I've worked with some of the best people in the whole entire world. I'm really gutted, but thank-you so much for everything."
