Emmerdale star Natalie Anderson has had a baby boy.
The actress - who plays high maintenance Alicia Gallagher in the ITV soap - gave birth to the baby, her first, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The Emmerdale press team tweeted: "Lovely baby news! @AndersonNatalie has given birth to a gorgeous boy! Congratulations Natalie and James."
Natalie and husband James Shepherd have not chosen a name for their son, who weighed in at 6lb 5oz, Hello.com reported.
Natalie announced she was expecting her first child in March.
In Emmerdale her character Alicia was sent to prison for attacking neighbour Val Pollard, so that Natalie could have her maternity break from the soap.
