The actress, who currently stars in US comedy show Happy Endings, said yes when Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf popped the question.
The 29-year-old tweeted: "Happily, happily, happily, happily engaged!! This has been the most amazing weekend ever."
The Canadian actress first came to fame as Kim, the daughter Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer, on hit series 24.
