An EastEnders storyline will see the Queen Vic close this summer, according to reports, after the pub is struck by a flea infestation.

An EastEnders storyline will see the Queen Vic close this summer, according to reports, after the pub is struck by a flea infestation.
Landlord Alfie Moon and wife Kat are forced to close the pub so it can be fumigated after uncomfortable punters flee the fleas, The Sun reported.
Kat and Alfie's marriage is already under strain and they have suffered their share of money worries. The couple - played by Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie - find themselves struggling to make ends meet as they lose more cash after shutting the Vic.
And things don't get any better after they have battled the blood-suckers, as disgruntled customers continue to boycott the Albert Square boozer for fear of bringing fleas home with them.
The fleas appear from nowhere and Alfie and Kat are determined to find out where they came from.
The scratchy scenes are set to air in August.
