Doherty: Goodyear shouldn't swear
Paddy Doherty won Celebrity Big Brother 8 in 2011
Paddy Doherty has admitted he would have hated to have been in the Celebrity Big Brother house this year with Julie Goodyear.
The 53-year-old former bare-knuckle boxer - who won the show last year - revealed he would have taken the 70-year-old Coronation Street star aside and told her to stop playing a game.
Paddy said: "Honestly, I said 'Thank God I wasn't in there with Julie Goodyear.' Everyone gave her a bit too much respect.
"You'd have to say, 'Hey, listen woman, come on! It's a game, don't try and play it, 'cause we're all going to be playing each other. It's just a game - be yourself.'
"And for a woman - she never stopped swearing! An old woman of 70 years of age shouldn't have to swear. I didn't like her personality at all."
He tipped former EastEnders and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp and Olympic judo athlete Ashley McKenzie to win.
Paddy said: "Martin, he was just himself, he never acted it. I don't think Martin never played a game once. And I don't think that young karate kid never played a game neither.
"Martin's just himself, he never done no game plan and the other fellow's too young to do a game plan."
:: Paddy stars in new reality show Paddy And Sally's Excellent Gypsy Adventure, which begins on Channel Five on Wednesday, September 12 at 10pm.
