TV hit Doctor Who appears to be conquering the US even further after landing the cover of an influential magazine.
The BBC sci-fi series is thought to be the first British TV show to be granted an Entertainment Weekly cover.
Matt Smith - who returns for a third series as The Doctor later this year - is featured in the cover image, wielding his sonic screwdriver with the Tardis in the background.
Last year's series six was the most watched series ever on BBC America, and was the most downloaded show on US iTunes last year, ahead of other popular programmes such as Mad Men and Glee.
