Dixon: Cowell can be 'challenging'
Alesha Dixon says Simon Cowell likes winding her up
Alesha Dixon has described working with Simon Cowell as "challenging".
The new Britain's Got Talent judge, who sits on the panel alongside Simon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden, said: "It's challenging but I can handle anything: I'm not scared of anything or anyone."
The 33-year-old continued: "I think there's a really good dynamic on the panel - there's a nice balance. Everybody's strong minded and has their opinions and will fight for the acts that they want, in a way which I believe will make for good TV."
"But there is also great respect and we have a genuine bond. We've all bonded in our own way - Amanda and I are the girls together and David and I have bonded because we're the newbies, and Simon just loves winding me up and it usually works!" she added.
Alesha - who launched Avon's Pass It On campaign, as the beauty and empowerment ambassador - revealed that the judges have had disagreements.
"We've all gone head to head, all of us. It's all within context of the show," she said.
"It really is where you believe in an act and you get passionate about that act, and it would be wrong if you didn't, because it shows that you are passionate about what we like."
:: Alesha wants women to buy an Avon empowerment necklace for friends to show solidarity, support and friendship, as well as raise funds for charity partners Refuge and Women's Aid who campaign against domestic violence.
