Dales' Lucy's grown-up cast dinners

Emmerdale's Lucy Pargeter has revealed how her regular cast catch-ups have had to mature as the stars have all grown up and become parents.

The actress - who plays feisty Chas Dingle - is now a mother to six-year-old daughter Lola, and told how the girls' nights out she shares with her co-stars have gone from a chance to swap dating gossip, to sharing parenting tips.

Lucy told Inside Soap: "We go for dinner, drinks and some girly fun.

"When I first started here, it was all about where we'd gone out partying at the weekend and who we'd met.

"These days it's what the kids are up to and how the DIY is going at home. Things have really changed!"

The actress loves Chas's job as a barmaid as it means she gets to see so many of her co-stars at work.

She said: "Being in the Woolpack I get to see most of the actors on a regular basis for a little catch-up - it's always a good chance to have a proper chat and a giggle."
