Dales' Kelvin: Andy gets around!

Kelvin Fletcher
Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) has had a string of romances in Emmerdale
Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has joked that his character Andrew Sugden is like the "village bike".
The 26-year-old farmer has been married twice and had a string of affairs and relationships. And he is about to have a fling with a new arrival in the village - Amy Wyatt's mum Kerry, played by Laura Norton.
Kelvin laughed: "I'm happy he had a companion, shall we say. But it was short-lived, so maybe he's on the hunt for another one. You never know with that lad. He is the village bike, isn't he?!"
The actor doesn't think Andy and Kerry have a future together.
He said: "I think she's too much like him and together they'd get themselves in so much bother. They're very alike in many ways but I'm not sure they'd make a good couple."
But Kelvin loved working with Laura.
He said: "I've worked with quite a few actors and actresses over the years, and haven't got along with anyone as quickly as I have with Laura. We immediately hit it off. Her enthusiasm is pretty infectious, and she's very genuine and great to work with. She's professional.
"And it just makes it so much easier because it did come out of the blue our storyline.
"We only had a couple of scenes together, and the next thing we knew, Andy and Kerry were kissing and sleeping together!"
"That was a bit weird, and filming that with somebody felt a bit weird. We'd only just met each other in real life. It was a bit of a jump, but we put each other at ease and I can't really speak highly enough of her."
