It is phone a friend time on tonight's X Factor when show supremo Simon Cowell calls in with some news for the judges.
The panel, who have narrowed down hundreds of contestants to just 24 acts, find out which category they will take through to the judges' houses stage.
In his first appearance on the show this year, Simon calls Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos and former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger from Miami where he is filming the US version of the show.
