Corrie newcomer trying to hide out

Coronation Street newcomer Sol Heras has revealed he has already started going out in disguise in case people quiz him on plot secrets.

The hunky young actor has just joined the soap as Michelle Connor's son Ryan, who returns to the street "with a dark secret" after being kicked out of university.

Sol said: "I've not really contemplated the reaction, although I have started wearing a hat - just in case people ask me questions and I don't know how to answer!"

The Rock Rivals star has also dyed his hair black for the role, to look more like Ben Thompson, who played the troubled teen between 2006 and 2010.

Sol revealed: "Ryan went away to find himself. After two years, he is back after being thrown out of university, although he doesn't tell Michelle this. He makes out to her that leaving was his decision. His personality on the whole has taken a major detour."

It has already been revealed Ryan has an eye for the ladies, and Sol is hoping he might have an affair with an older woman.

He said: "Ryan would be a good match with anybody! Married, single, the more the merrier for Ryan! I think he would probably quite like a cougar!"
