Childs: I am more than my looks

Amy Childs has said she wants people to see past her looks and appreciate her for her mind, as she dressed up as a geek for a new magazine photo shoot.

The 22-year-old beautician and reality TV show star - who recently had a second breast enhancement taking her to a 32DD and fillers injected into her lips - recreated Katy Perry's geeky look from her music video Last Friday Night in a shoot for the latest issue of Now magazine.

Amy said: "I want people to know there's more to me than my looks. I'm intelligent in my own way - I've always had a business mind."

The former The Only Way Is Essex star revealed while she wasn't a book worm at school, she was a model student who got on with everyone.

She said: "I was head girl. But I did get told off for wearing fake tan, false lashes and make-up. I wasn't clever because I'm severely dyslexic.

"I got on with the geeks and the popular people. I made the effort with everyone."

Amy, who is currently dating model David Peters, is proud of her business achievements after launching her own perfume and clothing line.

The TOWIE star also revealed she met Simon Cowell at a charity bash in London and claimed he flirted with her.

Amy added: "He said I should go and see him in America. He thanked me for going to his house on one of those starspotting buses while I was in LA and then told me that I should also knock on his door whenever I'm over there."
