Coco-Jacinta Cherin faced her first on-screen kiss
Neighbours star Coco-Jacinta Cherin has confessed her character Rani Kapoor's kiss with rebel newcomer Harley Canning was "pretty nerve-wracking".
Rani shares an intimate moment with the roguish schoolboy (played by Justin Holborow) in a scene which will air in the UK this autumn.
Coco-Jacinta, 15, said older cast members gave her advice ahead of her first on-screen snog. She told Digital Spy: "They all said their first on-screen kiss was scary. But they told me, 'Pretend no-one else is there and that will make it less awkward'."
The actress added: "It was pretty nerve-wracking. It was night-time and we were both cold and shivering."
Meanwhile Callum Jones (Morgan Baker), who has been harbouring a secret flame for Rani, will later be left upset by her new romance.
Coco-Jacinta explained: "Rani's a little bit blind to the fact that Callum likes her so much. She hasn't picked up on anything."
