BGT pooch Pudsey piling on pounds

Britain's Got Talent winner Pudsey the dog has reportedly piled on the pounds after receiving so many treats for his victory.

Owner and co-star Ashleigh Butler - who walked away with the half a million pound prize money thanks to Pudsey's performance - is planning to splash out on a special treadmill so the pooch can get some exercise before heading to Hollywood, where Simon Cowell hopes to make him a film star, just like Uggie, star of Oscar-winning film The Artist.

Since winning the show Pudsey has been treated to plenty of snacks, including his favourite fat-loaded cheese balls, but hasn't had the exercise of rehearsing his show-stealing routine anymore, The Sun reports.

Pudsey performs for treats, and has been given plenty to encourage him to pose for pictures with Ashleigh as she has been flooded with interview requests following her win.

Meanwhile, before Simon takes them to Hollywood in his private jet, Ashleigh and Pudsey have been enjoying their new celebrity status.

The pair were delighted when they bumped into rapper Kanye West at the recording of Alan Carr's Chatty Man show and he posed for a picture with them.
