Natalie Anderson is rooting for Alicia Metcalfe in the Emmerdale love triangle
Emmerdale stars Natalie Anderson and Fiona Wade have revealed they are nothing like their feuding characters.
The pair play Alicia Metcalfe and Priya Sharma, who have found themselves in a love triangle with Alicia's husband David (Matthew Wolfenden).
But despite their heated moments on screen, Fiona told OK! magazine: "Of course we're all very professional, but if there's a chance to lighten the mood, we'll go for it.
"Us two girls gang up sometimes on Matthew. We'll do his head in because all we'll want to talk about is shoes and weddings and babies!"
Natalie added: "Fiona cracks me up."
But when asked who she thinks David should end up with, the actress is rooting for Alicia.
"I think he should be with Alicia! I think the foundation of their relationship is based on being best friends," Natalie said.
"They've got very similar morals, they've got a very similar sense of humour, and once all the hot stuff has gone, those are the things that make a relationship."
