Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are getting ready to put on a live episode of their hit TV show 30 Rock.
The pair and their co-stars will do the comedy live in the US in their usual timeslot on Thursday, and will then do a fresh performance of the episode later on for viewers on the West Coast.
It will be the second such outing for the show, which went live for a night in October 2010.
The theme of the episode plays into the idea of live vs filmed as the Kabletown corporate bosses announce they will no longer pay for live production of TGS, the fictitious show-within-a-show produced by Liz Lemon, played by Fey.
After first resisting, Liz and NBC exec Jack Donaghy (Baldwin) realise their lives would be simplified by shooting TGS episodes on film, fast and cheap.
