Tina Fey's TV show has come to an end
The final episode of 30 Rock has aired in the US, bringing the hit show to an close after seven series.
Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin's comedy about a TV network ended with an hour-long special featuring a guest appearance by House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi tweeted beforehand: "Congrats to Tina Fey for a very successful seven seasons of #30Rock. It's an honour to be part of her season finale tonight. Tune in!"
Closure came in a two-minute postscript on the NBC finale which, among other things, included a reference to the snowglobe revelation with which the medical drama St Elsewhere famously concluded a quarter of a century ago.
Other big names who have made cameos on the show - which first hit screens in 2006 - include Jennifer Aniston, Queen Latifah and Matt Damon.
