23-year-old McFly bassist Dougie Poynter is a rumoured contestant for I'm A Celebrity 2011. His rise to fame began in 2004 when McFly topped the charts with 5 Colours In Her Hair. Since then, he's gone on to write songs for the band and date a popstar (Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays).

One of the things I have always looked forward to watching is I'm a celeb (sad I know).
This year as it stands will be giving it a miss.

I agree, this year's line up is pretty dismal. I would have thought Tamara had enough money even without going into the jungle. She is an empty head, boasting never to wear the same outfit twice. Well, lovie, you are in for a surprise, no chance of you chucking your clothes away in the jungle. Then maybe there is, as she will be the first to be voted out.

I have always been a big fan of the show but this lot will have me switching over as they are bunch of second raters. I have also always thought the sums of money paid to these characters is ludicrous as it should be for their favourite charity.

Tracey - you echo my thoughts exactly! I have watched it since it started, with Tony Blackburn winning it and I have agreed with all the winners so far. This year, the only star is Linda Robson. I hope she wins. I might watch the last episode but nothing else. What a sad bunch of has-beens or never-having-beens.
