Comic Relief 2013: Damian Lewis and Dawn French
No, your eyes do not deceive you. That is Homeland’s Damian Lewis with his leg over comedian Dawn French.
The two have joined forces as multi-award winning sitcom The Vicar of Dibley returns.
If you tune into Comic Relief’s Funny For Money night on BBC1, Friday 15 March from 7pm, among many surprises you’ll see this one-off sketch which is bound to be an automatic highlight.
The Vicar of Dibley cast reunite for the first time in seven years for the 10-minute special.
It has been penned by Richard Curtis, Comic Relief’s driving force, who is also responsible for the likes of Blackadder and Dibley in addition to movies Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Love Actually.
In the skit, London-bound and on a mission, the Vicar and her parishioners have an important decision to make. Read on to find out more about the big fundraiser, celebrating its 25th anniversary on BBC1, which has raised over £600m and changed lives both in the UK and Africa.
