Surprise, Surprise! The 1980's TV show is set to make a huge comeback this year, after more than a decade off our screens.

However, fans of the original show may be left disappointed when they hear that original host Cilla Black isn't planning on making a comeback on the show!

Never fear Surprise, Surprise fans though - it has been said that This Morning host and former Dancing on Ice presenter Holly Willoughby will be stepping into her place.

Despite bringing a fresh, modern element to the 1980's weekend show, it remains to be seen if Holly will sing at the beginning and end of the show, as Cilla did.

There has already been some controversy surrounding the show after it was announced that Holly had signed up to present new BBC1 show The Voice UK.

But an ITV source told The Sun, "Holly is still very much in the frame to do it."

The original show ran from 1984 until 1997, and returned for four annual specials.

The new show will feature many elements of the original show, including the trademark practical jokes, emotional reunions and surprising members of the public with long-held wishes!

"Surprise, Surprise was a big hit when it aired in the '80s and '90s and viewers remember it fondly," the source said.

"We'll be updating the show and giving it a modern twist but the essence will still be the same."

Ahh we've got a lorra lorra love for Surprise, Surprise!
