Simon Cowell teams up with Gordon Ramsay in new cooking show

PA
Simon Cowell is set to make the new cooking show, Food Glorious Food.
To say Simon Cowell has his fingers in many pies is an understatement - he's had his money-loving mitts on all kinds of television ventures in the past and now, the media mogul has turned his attention to cooking shows!
Simon's latest television project, called Food Glorious Food, will see celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay searching for the best homemade dish in Britain and the winner of the show will win £20,000 and their meal stocked in Marks & Spencer.
Regional auditions are being held for contestants next month and the show is set to be shown in February next year.
The Sun reported that ITV are currently looking for a celebrity presenter to host the show and rumours suggest that X Factor star Dermot O'Leary could nab the job.
Simon has said that he wants the show to rival BBC's Master Chef and a show insider told The Sun: "We're tapping into the Jubilee spirit with a Best of British theme. It's open to all ages - from a granny with Cornish pasties to a youngster who has the ultimate recipe for jellied eels. We're looking for characters too - with the 'likeability factor'."
What's more, Simon has added that wants to see some simple food on the show - he told The Sun: "I love my mum's roast potatoes. Shepherd's pie, Cornish pasties - I want stuff like that on the show."
We can't wait to see how the show turns out!
