Simon Cowell has denied rumours he's gay

Simon Cowell has told US gossip site TMZ live, he feels "not gentlemanly at all" as more details of his private life are revealed from an unauthorised tell-all biography.

Cowell added Tom Bower, the author of Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell was "relentless" in his digging for gossip.

Earlier this week, the unauthorised biography about the X Factor boss revealed he had an affair with former XFactor judge Danni Minogue, further contradicting the whispers surrounding his sexuality.

The 52 year old took to his Twitter account, telling followers: "This book is not written by me. It is unauthorised. The writer is Tom Bower."

Music mogul Cowell has also reportedly denied persistent rumours surrounding his sexuality in Tom Bower's tell-all book, insisting he is straight.

Cowell allegedly told Tom Bower, author of Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell : "If I was gay, why wouldn't I admit it? It wouldn't harm me, and my mother wouldn't freak out."

The SyCo boss has dated a string of beautiful women, including model Jackie St Clair and most recently Mezhgan Hussain, and says he is bemused everyone still thinks he's gay.

Oooh err Simon. Whatever next!
