Shaun Williamson revealed to MSN TV that he would love to go on I'm A Celebrity...

While two of his fellow EastEnders stars have gone into Celebrity Big Brother, Shaun Williamson (who used to play Barry Evans on the BBC soap) has said that he'd much rather go on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Shaun, who is currently starring in the play Punch And Judy Rebooted, revealed to us that going in the jungle would be a lifechanging experience:

"If someone offered me the jungle, I might be tempted to do that. I don't think I'd want to do Big Brother, as it's just a bit claustrophobic for me. I think the jungle would be a really good life experience."

Not even the gruesome food challenges put Shaun off from wanting to go on the show - he said: "People have been eating insects for years and it hasn't done them any harm".

The actor also revealed to us that he thinks his former EastEnders co-star, Martin Kemp, will win Celebrity Big Brother: "My old mate Martin Kemp is in it and I'd say that he's favourite to win. That is a pretty big name. He's got his reasons for going in and good luck to him."

Shaun also hinted at another project he is working on with his friend Ricky Gervais: "We're doing a one-hour special of Life's Too Short with Warick Davis again and that heavily features myself. I've read the script and it's really funny!"

Punch And Judy Rebooted is a project that is close to Shaun's heart - he revealed that he was a huge fan of the traditional Punch and Judy shows growing up:

"I do remember it as a kid. It's part of British identity and I feel strongly about it not being allowed to fade away. The traditional version features all sort of weird and wonderful characters and we've brought it up to date by featuring modern celebrities like Boris Johnson and Simon Cowell."

Punch and Judy Rebooted has been commissioned by TV channel Gold to celebrate traditional British comedy, bringing this old favourite into the 21st century. The show, can be seen on Gold's website.
