We know that the weather in Britain has been a bit dreary lately, but Richard Hammond's method of warming up is a little too extreme for us.
The TV presenter was snapped on the set of the second series of Richard Hammond's Crash Course and these shocking pictures show Richard covering himself in fire-proof grease before being set alight for his latest stunt.
Yikes - could the Hamster be one of the biggest daredevils on the box? We reckon so!

I would like to think kids had a bit more sense than some of the idiots commenting here. Have a bit of sense. Maybe your kids are thick enough and lack any instinct for self preservation but id like to think that my offspring would know that its not good to set youreslf on fire. Get real!!

Jumping off a cliff,drowning yourself, russian roulette, stabbing yourself, swimming with crocodiles and setting yourself on fire ARE stupid things to do. I can't understand how anybody can say they are not. As I commute to work on my motorbike I have no compunction to find a wall of death to ride around or a canyon to jump. HOWEVER stupid and dangerous things do make for good entertainment and this is what it is. If you don't like it don't watch it or allow your kids to.Turn off the TV and go and do something safe with your family.....

Oh look another idiot. Again Sheila, it's a stunt for TV. Most films have stunts in them. Maybe children should never watch TV again or maybe we should ban all action movies and make stunt scenes illegal?!

I make no apologies for this comment, but everyone is entitled to an opinion. So what, he's doing a stunt, and your point being??? You know I work in entertainment and have done all my working life, and the things i do with my work mates are risky but WE choose what we do. Just like Hammond choose to do the stunts. So I say to those of you having a moan cause you have nothing better to do, don't watch the show. At least that way watching someone else putting themselves out in the name of entertainment won't offend you!!!
