National TV Awards 2013: Nominations revealed
The National TV Awards are coming back around again, as crazy as it might seem! Yes, the Dermot O'Leary-hosted celebration of the best in telly has returned and the nominations for each category have now been revealed.

ITV
The show, which will be broadcast live on 23 January, will be the NTV Awards' 18th year and it's set to be a good one. X Factor goes head-to-head with the likes of Strictly Come Dancing and The Voice in the Reality TV category, and it appears that TV dogs have become all the rage since Ashleigh and Pudsey's Britain's Got Talent win.
Also this year, the NTAs will look back and honour the best landmark moment from London 2012 and TV viewers are being invited to vote for the moment that meant the most to them during the Olympics. Was it Mo Farah's epic wins that did it for you, or was it the moment the Queen jumped out of that helicopter with James Bond? Whatever your favourite moment, you can submit it to the NTAs and the best of the bunch will be selected to be honoured on the night.
In the drama category, over 30 have been nominated, but it looks set to be a battle between the likes of period dramas Downton Abbey, Upstairs Downstairs and Parade's End. Elsewhere in that category, Scott & Bailey and Lewis have received nods. US TV smash hit Homeland is also up for consideration.
In the comedy panel show category, the old favourites Mock The Week, QI and Have I Got News For You are up against ITV2's popular Celebrity Juice, which won the gong last year. Will it have a repeat of last year's success?
However, the big question that always seems to loom over the National TV Awards is on the topic of the best entertainment presenter. Ant & Dec have won the prestigious award eleven years running, with no other presenters getting a look-in! Is 2013 going to mark their 12th year in a row of dominating the category, or will the likes of Dermot, Alan Carr or Keith Lemon take the prize?
It's all up to you! Vote for your favourite in each category now at nationaltvawards.com.
