National Television Awards 2013: Ant and Dec win again as Simon Cowell looks on
The National Television Awards 2013 (also known as the NTAs) saw the stars of the small screen gather for one of TV's premier awards shows. It turned out to be a great night for Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, better known to you and I as Ant and Dec.
The cheeky Geordie duo won their 12th National Television Award in a row in the best Entertainment Presenter category. They couldn't attend the ceremony in person due to filming commitments on Britain's Got Talent so the NTAs cut away to the popular talent show.
A delighted Simon Cowell popped on to the stage to present them with their award. Despite winning for the 12th time, they were visibly overwhelmed. In truth, the boys have been superb, especially on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Anyone nominated in their category might as well stay home...
Among the winners were Coronation Street, Downton Abbey (which took the best Drama accolade) and the absent Miranda Hart (best female Drama Performance for Call The Midwife).
Familiar faces on the red carpet included X Factor judges Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger, Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville and ex-Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan.
We showcase some of the winners and attendees that turned out for the awards.

Was Lord Coe thanking his millions of fans?
Or thanking us for his £millions?
What on earth has Simon Cowell done to his cheeks how ridiculous he looks.
sick of ant and dec winning-they are not that good-----------------dermot o leary should have won-
he holds many third rate shows together----well done dermot
Looking at he programmes represented, none of them represent any form of high entertainment, just the run of the mill soaps, reality and pseudo talent shows, just shows the low standard that many people will accept and vote for. Ant and Dec yet again win for reciting from an autocue for shows that require little cost and creative skill to produce. This awards ceremony really is an indictment of how low the standards of media entertainment have sunk in this country!
Always find it interesting looking at those attending, you have those who are so plastered in fake tan that they look like they have been "Tangoed", you have the women (slappers) that look as if they should be street walking and the totally talentless excuses that tv now promote as celebs! No wonder we are getting rid of the tv in our house.
TUT! They couldn't even get the right photo for Colin Morgan!
