Meet the new Super Arg!
After losing over three stone in six weeks and improving his fitness dramatically, TOWIE's James 'Arg' Argent was thrilled to complete the London Marathon.

James Argent completed the London Marathon with a time of 6.01.01
When it comes to the cast of The Only Way Is Essex, we've always had a big soft spot for Arg and now, we can't help but feel proud of the fact that he managed to complete the London Marathon.
Especially as just six weeks ago he even struggled to run down the end of his road!
The 24-year-old took to Twitter to express his joy at completing the run with a time of 06:01:01 - he said:
"Just six weeks ago I was 18 stone and couldn't run down my road - just completed the London Marathon #LookAtMeNow"
Arg surprised everyone when he appeared on the latest series of TOWIE with a complete make-over in hope of winning back his ex, Lydia Bright. He may not have succeeded at wooing Lydia, but we reckon the new Arg is great!

At times, it looked like Arg was struggling yet he persevered to the end of the race.
Arg admitted on Twitter that many people doubted that he would be able to complete the 26.2 mile race - he said:
"Received so much stick and lots believed that I wouldn't be able to do it, but I proved the haters/doubters wrong".
It's hard to believe that Arg has many 'haters' but we think he should be proud at his latest achievement, which begs the question - now Arg is a bit of an action man, what will he do next?

We can just imagine him becoming the next movie hard man, like Danny Dyer, or maybe a fitness DVD is on the cards?
Whatever's next for the TOWIE star, we hope that he sticks to his new healthy way of life.

What every happened to " Well done Arg"? I would like to bet most of you with the negative comments won't be getting fit and running the marathon in 2013 for a charity. I don't like or dislike the bloke, I don't know him, and my tv has a button so I can change channels or even switch it off if I don't like a programe. So come on you miserable people, be nice, smile, say well done, change your attitude with a little bit of positivity in your lives, go on try it, you might even like the response you get to being nice.

Calm yourself Steven Shaw, the point I was making is why be negative towards the man? Why can't people be nice? I am sorry the chartity he chose pays a Chief Executive £260k a year, and well done YOU doing your bit. I think anyone who made the effort to be any part of the London Marathon, even the spectators, who travelled down to support those running should be applauded, So Why the personal attack on me?????

Fantastic effort all the runners in the London Marathon! I was there supporting my daughter and the spirit and heart of all involved, Runners, supporters, police, transport staff, stewards and organisers made it an amazing day that I will remember always, it was an example of people caring about each other, on so many levels, from raising money, to just showing each other the way. Congratulations to every runner! You are an inspiration to us all!

Why not do a feature on those who have dedicated discipline and endeavour for years and competed in the Marathon? Or focus on someone who isn't a celebrity running their first Race.
