A host of stars have put on their dancing shoes to take part in this year's Let's Dance For Sport Relief, but this week's headlines are likely to focus around Alice Barry and Steve Jones.

Shameless star Alice Barry gave Steve Jones a night on live television he won't forget in a hurry when she goosed the presenter, then felt his front.

The Welshman jumped in surprise as the audience cheered, but he handled it well (words that could be attributed to Alice Barry). The Shameless actress apologised, insisting that she hadn't meant to grab him, and Steve Jones has played it all down.

However, watching viewers took to forums and social networking sites to complain about the apparent double standard that occurs when a woman touches up a man. One person wrote: "I can't believe Alice Barry just groped Steve Jones! Sexual harrassment if he had done it to her!"

Sport Relief Weekend takes place from 23-25 March and raises money for people across the UK and the world's poorest countries. Take a look at how the celebrity dancers got on in this gallery.

Is that the best you've got dear? Your demeaning a valid point because you think it comes from the land of a 13 year olds mind? I'm 23 by the way.
so you think a man doesnt notice that intoxicating scent when u get to close and give him a little hug and kiss on the cheek coz u think you are friends? You think he doesn't notice how soft your lips are? Or how warm you feel against him?
Wake up and get a grip. You think it's harmless, but it takes all our strength to not go crazy thinking "Well, maybe what if.....you know....maybe she" And around in circles like that for days on end where we work together.
Ladies, sexism works both ways. Also, if im stereotyping, why do 14 (probably 13men and 1 decent woman) agree And 8 women disagree? Just put yourselves in our shoes....have a little empathy that we might be a little attracted to you, and the things you do u think is friendly, is actually a cruel form of torture. That's all im saying, be more aware of your actions.

Unfortunately it's a PC world.

For those who have never experienced it try working on either a production line full of women, or a share traders where it's all women and see what harrassment is, we always instructed the new support guys to stay out of dimmly lit areas!

i have never and will never again post a comment but i just have to say "Sefiros" you are a single minded, ignorant , stereotyping, numpty. A kiss on the cheek is sexual?are u a thirteen year old virigin?blah not worth it. Evolution will hopefully rid the world of this kind of thinking.

I wonder if this Sport Relief would make more money, if people rang in not to see these dreadful acts perform, Who wants to watch Slack Alice on a Saturday Night. The Celebs seem to be taken over every programme. Why not bring back play your cards right and family fortunes etc ring in to enter and the money from your phonecall is for good causes.

Remember Ask the Family, Sale of The Century Gambit The Golden Shot, The word celebrity was never in it,

@steve.
Because, if a mans sexually inappropriate, womens special "interest" groups come into it and media blows the whole thing up and more than likely the man will get fired or suspended.
Women get to be sexually inappropriate all the time. Anyone seen patrice o'neal on elephant in the room, it's funny as hell but its exactly how it is.
Having men work with women is like having grizzly bears work with salmon, and the bear can't even roar coz the salmon will go "Oh My! Human resources, the grizzly bear just did grizzly bear stuff!"
Men don't even have to be sexual anymore to be sexually inappropriate, like if we told a woman in an office she was beautiful, she could just feel a little awkward but say thank you but i'm not interested in you in that way, instead she might just report you for being inappropriate. That light hearted kiss on the cheek in the morning "Hi!" coz women think all straight men can be their friends and not attracted to them, that aint sexual harrassment?
Thats more harrassing because your doing something like that, that you KNOW will cause us to react in a sexual way, but then act like "but i just wanted to be friendly".
Do straight single (and single will be the key word) men just kiss women on the cheek for no reason?

I didn't find her actions at all funny, far too old to behave like that, nice example for the kids Alice! I though Eddie the eagle was fantastic last night.

I have to agree that it is an example of shocking double-standards. Not only did she grope him, but she used some questionable language later too. People seem to fall over themselves to complain about anything to do with Top Gear or Jeremy Clarkson, but when a woman gropes a man TWICE on live television and before the watershed then I think it should be taken very seriously. But nothing will happen, because the people who usually complain about sexual harrassment are women. If a man complains about it, the claim is treated very negatively. Lets face it, if we had a TV show called Loose Men, in which the panel of men said half the derogatory things about women as Loose Women say about men, it would be inundated with complaints of sexism.
