At first glance, EastEnders' Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) is hardly a hunky soap heartthrob, but somehow the businessman has managed to get hitched four times and he was even set to wed for a fifth time with Mandy Salter (Nicola Stapleton).
After his relationship with Mandy spectacularly hit the rocks (she left him on their wedding day) Ian has now set his sights on Denise (Diane Parish).
We don't know how he does it! Ian has had steamy affairs, elicit encounters and loveless marriages - in fact he's pretty much the Casanova of Albert Square.
But, who are the ladies that the Bachelor Beale has loved and lost? We take a look at Ian's past romantic conquests and see if he should have stayed with them or if he had a lucky escape...

all i can say is.the programmes had its day. about july 1982....its more far fetched than dallas ever was and who in their right mind would ever of gone near that ugly pri.k in the first place .......i rest my case about the far fetched scenes.....the queen vic went up in flames and was open again within 6 weeks.....what insurance company were they with........twilight zone calling........and a couple of years ago.....there was phil mitchell ,ben peggy,archie the 2 sisters ( I MAKE THAT 6 PEOPLE) ALL having their own rooms in a 3 bedroomed flat with their own rooms then asking billy and jay to stay.where did they reside at night under the kitchen grill .......the whole programmes fantasy boll..ks......a 3 year old dreams up better.and the writers on death row with the scripts.....

Its unlikely definately,only because,in real life,any Man that had the looks and problems/personality of poor old Ian would be left severely alone.This type of nonsense can only happen in soapland,we all know that looking like Ian will only attract **** if they have money and plenty of it

Ian Beale a heartthrob, I don't think so,mr. money bags more like. While on the easties subject Phil Mitchell looked more like Quasimodo than himself when he staggered into the Queen Vic. He even scared me with his contorted face.

I don't usually watch soaps, but when I was lodging, the landlord used to watch it. The only line is that everybody sleeps with everybody, and if you miss one episode Eastenders, you can follow it on Coronation street or Emerdale farm. Lots of trash basically. i guess they have not much to offer on the TV anymore.
