Holly and Phillip in ratings battle
This Morning co-presenters, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, are set to go up against each other in a Saturday night television ratings battle - but, who will win?

They may appear to be the best of friends on screen, but now Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are going to have to brace themselves for a tense television ratings battle against each other.
Holly presents the prime time Saturday night show The Voice and with Reggie Yates on BBC1 and Phillip's popular ITV game show The Cube, is set to make a return on 14 April, meaning the two shows will clash against each other.
Yikes! We can't imagine that Holly and Phillip are too pleased with the prospect of pitching against each other!
The Daily Mirror reported that a source told them: "This smacks of desperation. They (ITV) are running scared and to pit Phillip against Holly is the last throw of the dice."
The source added: "They are going to any lengths to beat The Voice and damage its ratings but they are on a losing wicket."
We doubt that the upcoming television war will affect Holly and Phillip's friendship too much though, as the pair have always been supportive of each other's ventures - in fact, we reckon they'll have a good old giggle about it!

The cube is naff and boring.
I havn't watched the voice, but undoubtedly the stupid british public will tune in to watch a terrible programme full of sob stories and pay money to vote like the sheep they are. Shame because the guy from The Script is a very talented artist, unlike Chavvy J who is just detstable in every sens, let alone terrible music.
So id say The Voice wins.

These TV personalities are friends. They will not personally give a hoot who is in front - so long as they do not take a ratings dive and end up not in work - which they won't anyway as they are too popular. I have seen the cube, but these days (with most game shows) I cannot get the time to watch the whole way through, and when people are doing tasks my heart can be really racing - for them to succeed). I cannot, therefore, watch the Cube and others like it. I have so far not been able to see/hear The Voice. I believe it is a very good change to the usual music star formula; I want to see/hear it! Anyway, in battle, this will win. If you asked me if "I am bovvered" to borrow a well know phrase, no way. To make more of this would be silly. To ask as many friends do over any subject "who do you think will win", then there is no harm in this and to call people stupid or show how stupid "they" are, why bother commenting. This news is not live threatening or earth shattering, but taken at face value, a laugh. The people on TV are brave to be in front on a camera, succeeding or failing (hardly "idiots"). What can you do? No replies. Retorical question (look it up).

Philip and Holly are the best as far as I'm concerned. The Cube versus the Voice is a 'no brainer', the Cube is far more entertaining. (Sorry Holly it's not your fault) I still love you, but The Voice is rubbish.
