Dancing on Ice will be axed after the 2014 series, and here we look at where the reality show floundered.
Gok Wan to host own cookery show
Gok Wan is going to host his own cooking show.
We have a bit of a soft spot for Gok Wan. Not only do we admire the way he makes people feel good about themselves (not to mention look good too,) but we reckon he's a genuinely nice bloke, so we'd be more than happy for him to rustle us up a scrummy Chinese meal!
Yes, Gok is leaving his domain of fashion to try his hand at hosting a new prime-time cookery show about Chinese food on Channel 4. He will be joined by his dad, who's a restaurateur and a chef - we can't wait to see what dishes they come up with!
A Channel 4 insider said:
"Gok can't wait to fire up his wok and showcase his other great passion in life, Chinese cooking" before adding, "It will prove he is master of the cleaver as well as the cleavage!"
The show, which is called Gok Cooks Chinese (thankfully not 'How To Cook Good Naked',) will feature six episodes and is being produced by the television company Optomen, who make both Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay's cookery programmes.
We can see Gok becoming a celebrity chef in no time, although we're kind of hoping that he will add the odd fashion tip in between dishes!
Gok Cooks Chinese will be hitting our screens in May.
