Confirmed: Gary Barlow returning to The X Factor
It's official: Gary Barlow will be a judge on the next season of The X Factor. Read on…
First it was Louis Walsh who confirmed his place back on The X Factor panel, and now it's Gary Barlow.
In a statement ITV and the producers of the show confirmed the news and Gary himself has said: "I'm thrilled to be back and really looking forward to working with The X Factor team again. The fact that a superstar could just walk out on that stage is very exciting."
Music mogul Simon Cowell also seems to be chuffed, saying: "It's great to be able to confirm our first judge for this year's show. Gary has earned his place and I'm excited to be working with him again."
This follows reports today that Gary reportedly came very close to being fired by Simon last year.
Journalist Tom Bower reveals in his unauthorised biography of Simon Cowell, which is named Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell, that Simon found Gary to be 'too scripted' and 'boring' in early episodes of the show.
Simon responded to the reports surrounding the book on Twitter and tweeted saying; "This book is not written by me. It is unauthorised. The writer is Tom Bower."
We're just happy that Gary Barlow will be back this year! Welcome back Gary!

Can we not just for once have some real bands, you know actual bands.
Not this boy band crap and girl band crap. All wana be quick easy life and rolling in money for doing crap.
Celebs are just sad people, who dont want to work for a living, they go about there daily lives like they are gods or some thing, yet it is them who is blind to life.
I say get rid of all these crappy 1 time dealers fo boy and gril bands, and lets get some real bands back. Real song wrighters, not these twonks who copy everyone else,s musick and rely on a computer processing unit to do all the work for them, and them claim they are excellent singers.
I say lets just give 1 microphone and no sounds enhancing technology to back them up, and lets actually see if they really can sing, just them the microphone and the amplifires and speakers only, because there is not a good talent out there at all, only pancified dreamers who beleive there **** smells sweater than most and walking aroudn with there nose in the air, idiots. Then some **** comes along and says we live in a fair society,

Peer through all the underhand shenanigans and find the truth and remove yourself from it as much as possible. Celebrity only survives through idolisation. Celebrity is a club for the in crowd and they try to keep it to themselves as much as possible. But sometimes the knives come out and for money making purposes the blow is dealt. If you follow the thread of the exposing story, one can work out how it weaves through these pages of MSN. Mr Cowell is on high profile exposure at the moment. Soon it will be back to a footballer or a boy band. It's just a manipulating game.
