British Comedy Awards 2013: Ant and Dec up against Graham Norton

Nominations for the British Comedy Awards 2013 have been revealed. Will anyone beat Ant and Dec this year?

The British Comedy Awards return to Channel 4 on Thursday 12 December at 9pm. Jonathan Ross will oversee what has traditionally been a raucous event.

The cream of British comedy will celebrate the funniest programmes and personalities of the year. Multi award-winners Ant and Dec will face Graham Norton, Alan Carr and Adam Hills in the Best Comedy Entertainment Personality category.

Meanwhile, Great British Bake Off punsters Mel and Sue are also jointly up for Best Female TV Comics while Horrible Histories battles the likes of Psychobitches in the Best Sketch Show category.

There will also be three special awards given out on the night: The British Comedy Outstanding Achievement Award, The Writer's Guild of Great Britain Award and the award for International Achievement.
