Madeleine Taga was seen to be one of the more catty models on this year's Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, so we couldn't wait to chat to her after she became the latest contestant to leave the show.

She talked to us about the other girls, being on the show and she also revealed to us that Erin O'Connor gave her some personal advice...

Was your experience on the show everything that you thought it would be?

I didn't plan to go on the show, so I didn't have any expectations really. My friend went to audition for the show, so I went with her and they chose me instead of her!

Did you have any regrets from the show?

I did have a few regrets on the show, but I enjoyed the experience. I should have been more friendly. I do regret not being more friendly with the girls.

Why weren't you friendly on the show?

I don't think I should have gone on the show to make friends. Nobody goes on a competition to make friends. That doesn't make sense to me - I'm French! I don't get it.

When I said that though, people didn't understand what I meant. If I had known that the show was going to be the way that it was, I would have been more open and more smiley. But, I went on the show to try and get as far as I could.

Some fantastic celebrities came on the show, including Erin O'Connor, who were your favourite guests?

Rizzle Kicks were so fun to work with, even though they weren't models! I really liked the shoot. Erin was inspirational as she talked to me after I was eliminated and there wasn't any cameras so she didn't need to.

She gave me loads of personal advice and she was amazing. She doesn't have a conventional face either and she said that people like me, who look like that, need to work a bit harder and be more smiley.

Elle said that she thought both you and Roxy looked 'defeated' in your pictures, why do you think she said this?

I was defeated. On the shoot, I really, I really worked hard and I was so disappointed with the picture that they chose. It was one from the start of the shoot. As I went on with the shoot, I improved.

The picture that they chose was me being gloomy. I got motivated and I really liked the shoot and as it went on I thought; 'Even though this might be my last shoot, I have to try better.'

Do you think that you should have gone home over Roxy?

I wanted to stay. It doesn't matter who was in front of me, I would have preferred them to go. I don't have anything against Roxy and I knew I was going home. I was really surprised to have her in the bottom two with me.

You took part in some amazing photoshoots, which was your favourite and which was your least favourite?

My favourite was the broken doll one, as I had so many emotions going through me! The concept of the shoot was amazing. We should have done it on day one and kept on going forward with that.

The other girls sometimes talked about you behind your back, were you shocked to find this out when you watched the show back?

The competition is really heating up and there aren't many people left - who's your tip to win?
I think Lisa or Roxy will win. Lisa and Roxy are the two girls who look like high-fashion models.
