Why is this newsworthy? Surely we are WAY beyond a gay kiss being an issue.. I found it quite weird that in 2009 this might be considered worthy of comment at all! It's a bit sad - I thought we were more accepting and sensible these days.

 

It seemed somewhat retrograde. So maybe the next issue to get an airing might be (oooh...) an inter-racial kiss...??

When will people realise that **** sexuals and lesbians do not fit into society! Most people are against this, but dare not say anything because of the reprisals.  The do-gooders, one day, will realise that what they have done as turned our society into a sick nation.

It's nothing to do with being a do-gooder - it's to do with knowledge and understanding and 58 years of life, knowing loads of great people, gay or straight being the least important aspect of them for me. I'm a mother of two straight adult sons, a few of whose good friends are gay. I have a few gay friends and have worked alongside some brilliant gay teachers in my career. I also now work with older teenagers some of whose lives are made an absolute misery by people like you. As it happens I really dislike "gay pride" and the flaunting of the overtly sexual aspects all that ... but so do all the gay people I have ever known. Most gays are just normal decent people in all walks of life who just want to get on with living and be allowed to love whoever they love. In most cases you would never know they were gay through their dress or behaviour. Did you know that the military has an above average proportion of gays .. sometimes risking their lives for the likes of you, heaven help them. I'm a pacifist as it happens, but I don't therefore **** off all soldiers. Keep your small-minded, unintelligent, unkind and objectionable opinions to yourself please.
