MSN TV spends the day with X Factor's Chris Maloney
Unless you're Sir David Frost, it's not every day that you get to have a snoop around the homes of television stars. So we jumped at the chance to accompany X Factor contestant, Chris Maloney, back to his hometown of Liverpool to meet his friends and family.
X Factor fans will know that Chris is Gary Barlow's 'wildcard' and he needs to get the highest number of public votes to secure a place in the competition. Yikes - a pretty tough situation if you ask us!
Still, despite this pressure, Chris was his usual cheerful self when we met him at London's Euston train station and he was excited to get on the train back to his hometown of Liverpool.

Pat revealed to us that Chris was always singing - she said: "When he was a kid, he was always doing karaoke. He was always in the back garden and everyone used to hear him singing. The neighbours used to come and listen to him!" On our way there, Chris told us that his life was very different before he auditioned for the X Factor: "My day-to-day life was working Monday to Friday, starting at eight and finishing at six. That was basically my life!" He told us that his colleagues were not expecting him to come back. When we arrived at his office, we were greeted by Chris' work friends cheering and shouting.
