Russia have played it fairly safe this year, but Dina Garipova’s ‘What If’ shouldn’t be underestimated. Another winner of her country’s version of The Voice, Dina should safely make it through the first semi-final. She’s already a big media favourite and is expected to do well if and when she makes it the grand final on Saturday.

‘What If’ is a strong piano-led power ballad, complete with the occasional flourish of strings, a big key change and lyrics about ‘reaching out’ and ‘coming together as one’. Sounds like a perfect Eurovision entry to us!
