Jeff Perry is an actor, teacher and co-founder of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Beyond his impressive accomplishments in theatre, he has also seen success on the big screen and television, including recurring roles on Nash Bridges, My So-Called Life, LA Law and Prison Break.

Kerry Washington is a beautiful and talented black woman and yes it' s a disgrace that it' been 38yrs, since Get Christy Love!! (1974) with Teresa Graves as a leading minority in a film. It was a big hit.

I hope the UK viewers give this show a chance and prove that minorities can pull in viewers. As we all know (well, maybe not every one), when a black actress gets work, she puts her heart and soul into the role, ’cause she knows it may be a couple of years, before (and if) she gets work again.
