X Factor

Eminem has revealed he would like to be a judge on The X Factor and he's dead set on finding the UK's next big thing.

The award winning rapper, who recently scooped yet another MTV VMA said the show needed an insight from a global superstar to put an end to the "average talent" produced... then he stepped up and volunteered himself!

He told The Sun: "I am not sure I would have the time to do it full time, but I would come and be a guest judge. You need to prepare contestants for what it is really like out there, and what sort of pressure you are going to be under.”

So do you think Marshall would make a good Marshal?
Or is he too hip-hop for the X Factor?

What a night we've got ahead of us eh?

The LIVE blog is running now...

As always just press F5 to refresh as we go along and I'll be here to blog all the action and have a good old natter...

Will John and Edward make it through again???

Who do you think deserves to go?

I'm thinking it could be Lloyd and Jedward in the bottom two, but you never know with the good old British public.

SHOW STARTS:

We kick off with the usual group song and I'd like it to be Freedom, how about you?

GOD! Wake Me Up Before You Go Go... J J J J Jitterbug!
Does it get any cheesier than this?

How do you fancy a sneak peek at the song list before we start? It looks like after Danyl's drama earlier this week, Simon's allowed him to change songs!

Joe
Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Lloyd
Faith

Danyl

According to The Mirror, Danyl Johnson stormed out during one of his vocal coaching sessions because he does not want to sing George Michael's 'Praying for Time'. Allegedly he vanished for over 5 hours before turning up at Sony BMG to talk to Simon Cowell.

The paper quotes an insider as saying: "He literally burst out the door and ran off down Battersea High Street. A few production staff chased after him to try to calm him down and make him come back but he was having none of it. They even sent a car to follow him and try to make him see sense and return but he refused. He seems very angry and upset and is demanding a different song. It'll be interesting to see if Simon backs down or makes him stick with it."

After flying back to their home turf, Jedward have been mobbed by a frenzy of Dublin fans.

Mentor Louis Walsh was overwhelmed by the surprise reception but he added that he thinks the boys would be just as popular Stateside...

In an exclusive interview with the Irish Independent, the pop impresario revealed that offers are already flooding in:

"It could be TV. There's people talking about them doing phone deals, pantomimes, books, records, hair deals. I think if they were in America they would be multi, multi-millionaires - they're so clean cut, they're so nice. They're unique. Everything about them!"

SHOW STARTS:

Here we go...

Hmmm, Dermot O'Leary (YUM!)

LOL! I knew the group song would be Bohemain Rhapsody - Classic. God, I wish they'd turn up the mic levels a bit on this show. The singers are constantly drowned out by the backing track. Sort it out please!

Are you ready for some Bohemian Rhapsody?

Arrr.... Do we have our first X Factor couple of 2009?

By Selena Ledgerton 14/11/2009 01:00

I think we might!

According to The Daily Mirror, Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon are somewhat of an item.

After gradually becoming closer and closer over time, rumours are rife that the pair have finally sealed the deal - with just a kiss of course!

A source told The Mirror, "It's only in the last few days that they have been getting very affectionate and touchy-feely towards each other - and it looks like the first X Factor romance of the year is well under way. They're both single and have been spending more and more time together. They've had a few cuddles - and at least one kiss out of sight of the other contestants. They look really good together and seem to enjoy each other's company. They're always laughing."
