X Factor reject Rylan Clark has revealed that he would like to have a baby and no matter what, he'll find a way to do it. He'd even sleep with a woman!

(C) Rex
The 23 year old told Now Magazine that he's been single for 3 years and is ready to settle down: "I can't wait to have kids - I do want babies and I want them the right way. I've never been with a girl. It's not my thing but I'm not ruling it out. I'm not sure about surrogacy. I don't know how I'll do it but it will be done... If I can't have kids, I'll adopt."

"What's to stop me having kids? Nothing. I want the Range Rover, the husband and two kids. I want to take my boy to football on a Sunday and my little girl dancing on a Wednesday."

I'm not sure if right away is an option. Rylan's been hinting for the last week that he'll be appearing on the first ever live edition of TOWIE, so he could be booked up for a while if all goes well!

He told Yahoo: "There is a live episode and I may be part of it, it could definitely happen. I am up for anything and I've got a lot of friends there so a week today, who knows?"

Do you think Rylan is Daddy material?

Rylan Clark is the next contestant to leave the X Factor (finally!) In a shock result he landed in the bottom two with boy band favourites Union J. Regardless of negative comments from the judges, Christopher Maloney was nowhere to be seen.

(C) Rex
For once, it's impossible to say that Clark relied on his Rylan Style. Tonight Gary Barlow congratulated him on his 'best vocal performance' and frankly I have to agree. He gave his own rendition of Coldplay's Wires and much as there was no comparison between him and Union J, he went out in the best possible way.

Union J performed Snow Patrol's Run and the crowd were on their feet. Rylan had already hugged the judges during his performance so it was pretty obvious he knew what was to come.

The judges voted and thankfully there were no calls for 'deadlock'. Only Nicole Sherzinger voted to save her own act and Rylan gracefully bowed out happy after some endearing comments from the judges.

Gary Barlow: “You have been an amazing contestant, and tonight was your best vocal performance. None of this has ever been personal, it's all been in good fun."

Rylan has loved every minute: "This show is by far the best thing to ever be on."

News and gossip from the world of X Factor

By Lorna Coops 25/11/2012 00:06

X Factor 2012 and a reminder that Ella Henderson is no longer in this competition.

The favourite for the chop is Christopher Maloney; he held back tears as he continued to receive criticism which his mentor Gary Barlow described as "uncomfortable".

Poor Chris failed to impress the judges. The Liverpudlian, who has been booed regularly on the show, came in for weird cereal metaphor criticism from judge Nicole Scherzinger.

After performing Lionel Richie's Dancing On The Ceiling she told him it was like "vanilla, skimmed milk on top of a single cornflake...I don't see much soul there."

His earlier version of Fernando by Abba prompted Louis Walsh to say it was like something from Benidorm or Blackpool.

Gary Barlow defended his sole performer saying: "I am starting to feel slightly uncomfortable with the criticism you're getting."

The Abba versus Motown evening saw the other four contestants receive glowing praise from the panel.

Favourite James Arthur wowed the crowd with Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On. Louis Walsh told quietly spoken Jahmene that if Motown were signing artists today he would be snapped up, after he performed Smokey Robinson's Tracks Of My Tears.

Boy band Union J had their best night in the competition according to Tulisa after trotting through The Winner Takes It All, and I'll Be There by the Jackson Five.

Novelty act Rylan Clark's Supremes medley was a bit "too Eurovision" for Gary Barlow, but Nicole said he sounded "amazing" singing Mamma Mia.

What do you think? Is Christopher Maloney doomed? Share your view by leaving a comment.

On ITV's This Morning, X Factor contestant Christopher Maloney has spoken out about the current media backlash and how he is coping.

(C) Rex
Speaking to Ruth Langsford, Stephen Mulhern and Kian Egan via a live link up with X Factor Chris was the first to say it's been tough.

"All the people that are supporting me are giving me support throughout and that's what's getting me through this competition...it's been a really difficult time, but the love and support that I'm getting from the public that are supporting me is unbelievable, I can't thank them enough."

On Ella leaving last week, Chris said, "I was very very shocked. It goes to show that people are not picking up the phone and stuff... but it was bitter sweet - I was really really happy that I got through but I also felt for Ella as well."

Ruth said, "Does that make it hard for you to celebrate because you've got this feeling that people don't really want you there - and yet, they're voting for you so clearly they do?"

Chris replied, "Obviously if they didn't want me there they wouldn't be voting for me, so clearly they are picking up the phone and voting."

Kian asked, "Do you think you deserve to win the show?"

Chris said, "I deserve to be here. You know, I'm probably one of the hardest contestants that's worked my way up - you know, every day, day in, day out. I'm working so hard just to make myself better. And because I was a wild card, the public voted me in. I'm not doing it just for myself, I'm doing it for the public that voted me in."

Fair point, go on Chris. Battle on.

Is Chris right to fight, does he deserve his place on the show or should he book his cruise ship ticket now?

X Factor contestant Christopher Maloney is concerned after receiving online "death threats".

Like Rylan Clark in earlier weeks, some viewers are angry that he remains on the show.

(C) ITV

The threatening messages came from X Factor viewers on Twitter who were unhappy to see Christopher stay in the competition over favourite Ella Henderson.  Rylan Clark has also received similar treatment on Twitter in previous weeks.

Henderson's departure left fans in shock when she failed to gain the public vote and was ousted after the sing-off.

The outcome led many fans to claim the show was a "fix". Some advised Maloney to 'kill himself' while others made frightening threats.

Maloney revealed that he was going to take a break from Twitter after posting the following: "It's a singing comp, I'm now getting death threats. What's the world coming to?"

X Factor producers are looking into the threats should Maloney decide he wants to take legal action.

Are you a Maloney fan or is he too 'cruise ship'?

All the latest news and gossip from The X Factor...

Show favourite Ella Henderson is the next contestant to leave the X Factor. It was a shock result that left the judges reeling and Tulisa Contostavlos in tears. James Arthur survived after giving the sing-off his all but the real surprise was that Rylan Clark was nowhere to be seen.

(C) Rex
The 16-year-old had been tipped as this year's winner but tonight Ella and James found themselves in the bottom two - why didn't you vote for them Britain?

The judges found the decision impossible and couldn't choose between them, Tulisa said it was ridiculous. "These two should not be in the bottom two, they should be finalists. This is down to people voting for the wrong act or thinking their act is safe - they're not!"

The result was left to the public and the deadlock result revealed - Ella was out.

(C) Rex

Speaking on the Xtra Factor, Ella told Olly Murs: “It’s horrible being in the bottom two. I’ve been watching it backstage (in previous weeks)…and being in it is horrible, it’s awful. But I’ve enjoyed every minute of this and I never expected to get so far.”

When asked if she was shocked to be in the sing-off she smiled: “I wasn’t shocked. I was shocked James was in the bottom two but I wasn’t shocked about myself. You never know what’s going to happen, especially this year. There’s been so many shocks. But thank you to everybody who did vote for me.”

“Tulisa thank you so much, to my little cupcake.”

Tulisa was in shock, angry and worried about swearing on air: “I’m just…words can’t even express…I don’t even know. Don’t ask me questions I’m going back to my urban roots right now.”

"Did you see and hear that last night? There was nothing about that performance you could fault, it was one of the best she’s ever done."

“And you know what I know I can relate, I used to watch X Factor before I was a judge and I would wait until a certain week before I started voting. And I had a favourite act and I wanted to vote…and the act I liked left before I voted.”

The audience booed when Rylan Clark made it through tonight and once again when Ella was voted out. Regardless of so many negative comments Rylan walked it. Fair result?

X Factor mentor Tulisa Contostavlos was left reeling last night when fellow judge Louis Walsh branded her a 'WAG'.

(C) ITV
The incident happened as Walsh commended show favourite Ella Henderson on her performance. He turned to the former N-Dubz singer and said "Mrs Wag, I thought you made a brilliant song choice!"

Louis was obviously referring to rumours that Contostavlos is currently dating footballer Danny Simpson. Tulisa looked shocked and sniped, "I'm not a WAG, I'm a WAF!"

She then educated Louis in 'celeb speak'. WAG relates to footballer's 'wives and girlfriends' who want to be famous. She however 'was already famous'.

Louis laughed sarcastically, "were you?"

Will the judges ever stop bickering?
Do you think Tulisa's a WAG?
And let's be honest, shouldn't they be putting their acts first instead of fighting amongst themselves?

James Arthur left the X Factor judges in awe last night with his soulful performance of Frankie Valli’s classic Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. Can he pip show favourite Ella Henderson to the post?

(C) Rex

With nothing but an acoustic guitar his stripped back performance was nothing short of sensational. Ella Henderson is always commended for making a song her own, but James proved that he's just as talented when it comes to arrangement and musicality.

The gifted 24-year-old’s voice was perfect for the track and after a standing ovation, the judges gushed.

Louis Walsh said : “Every week you come out and you pick a brilliant song and you do it the James Arthur way. What ever happens in the competition you will get a record deal!”

Tulisa commended his public appeal: “Even though it was Guilty Pleasure week, this was one of your coolest, most credible performances to date.”

Gary Barlow shocked the audience by tipping James to win! “Putting my category aside, and I shouldn’t say this, but I want you to win. I think your brilliant. I love everything about you and if I was at home right now I would be voting for you.”

Mentor Nicole Scherzinger was overwhelmed by Gary's comments and beamed: “When you sing we can’t take our eyes off you. You’re mesmerising, you stripped everything away and you’re so inspiring.”

James was elated by the judges reception: “I don’t know if we’ve had something this live before. I wanted to do an unplugged thing on the show and it was great. I’m just very humbled by it [the praise]. It doesn’t sink in until afterwards.”

Favourite to win Ella Henderson gave her 'best performance to date' according to Gary Barlow. She performed the Grease classic You're The One That I Want as a romantic ballad and once again brought the house down.

Sadly there were some negative comments as Nicole Scherzinger wasn't keen on the song choice. "I would’ve liked it if it was slowed down and then it picked up."

Do you think James is the dark horse of the competition?
Can he snatch the title from Ella?
