X Factor: Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos ban acts from Rylan Clark

All the latest news and gossip from The X Factor...

X Factor judges Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow have reportedly banned their acts from 'bad influence' Rylan Clark.

After a controversial week which saw Clark and fellow contestant Lucy Spraggan ousted from the Corinthian Hotel, the judges are apparently keen to protect their acts from any wild antics... and their repercussions.

An X Factor insider told the Daily Mirror: “Tulisa was disappointed with Lucy – she had her down as a serious musician and a real competitor for this year’s title but now she thinks she’s just here for a laugh."

“They really embarrassed themselves. Photos of them rolling around drunk in the street appeared and it really brings the show into disrepute.”

The source added that Gary Barlow has given Kye Sones and Chris Maloney a warning about Rylan too: “He’s had another word with his own acts and warned them that there is no place for his messing around on the show.”

Do you think Clark's a bad influence or just having fun? Surely it's unfair to single him out when Lucy was there too. There's no mention of the acts being banned from her? Rylan's gone on record as saying their drunken binge was down to her not him.

Rylan is old enough to know what is right and what is wrong.  He and Lucy are responsible for their own actions.  I am sure they know the word NO

Last year a contestant was thrown out for bringing the programme into disrepute (Can't remember his name he was that memorable!) I think these two deserve the same fate. At a time when binge drinking is a huge problem amongst  youngsters, you really dont need people on such a high profile show showing themselves up like this.

I THINK THAT THEY SHOULD BOTH BE OUSTED  FROM THE SHOW, AND THEY TWO SENT HOME RETURNED IN THEIR PLACE, and as for Lucy being allowed to sing her own songs each week, this is very unfair to the other contestants, she should do the same as all the others, she doe's not sing these songs as she is no singer, only can do her own style!!! and that only appeals to a minority.

i thought the X Factor was supposed to be about singing talent.  so why is a contestant who can't  sing for toffee kept on in preference to another who can sing (Carolynn Poole)? next, same  'performer' is out legless & bare-aced in the foyer of The Corinthian Hotel, Whitehall Place & manages to get himself ejected ... So singing is not the only talent he doesn't have; he doesn't know how to behave neither

when Carolynn left, we left.  no interest in watching the antics of rylan clark. it's not about the X Factor any more. It's about the pillock factor.

Rylan told us he was a model for D&G... so why make a fool of himself on Xfactor...

If they want to get drunk and roll around in the street, let them.

Anything goes these days.

It's society that's lost it's way, not X-factor.

Shows such as the X-factor are a reflection of today's standards and attitudes.

What's worse - Rylan and Lucy getting drunk and having some fun or MPs dodging train fares, calling the Police 'plebs' and cheating their way through Government?

None of it's 'right', whether you think it's Rylan and Lucy setting a bad example to the young generation or our 'leaders' setting a bad example to everyone.
